About Me

For more than 35 years, I practiced surgery, a profession that taught me the value of careful observation, patience, and attention to detail. Now retired from clinical practice, I bring that same curiosity to exploring the world through photography.

I have always been fascinated by the details that are easy to overlook: the intricate structure of an insect, the remarkable behavior of birds and other wildlife, or the subtle interplay of light and color in a landscape.

My photography reflects a broad range of interests, from birds and wildlife behavior to the miniature world of macro photography, as well as the landscapes, people, and cultures I encounter in my travels.

I am particularly drawn to moments that reveal something unexpected. Sometimes it is a fleeting interaction between animals; other times, a small detail that becomes extraordinary when viewed up close.

Photography encourages me to slow down, observe more carefully, and appreciate the remarkable diversity of the world around us. It is both a creative pursuit and a continuing journey of discovery.

Through this website, I am pleased to share a selection of photographs that reflect the places I have visited, the subjects that fascinate me, and the moments I have been fortunate enough to capture.
